Ki-Monogatari means "Wood Story" in Japanese. These pencils use the finger joint technique, where small offcuts of wood that would otherwise go unused are interlocked like fingers into a full-length pencil body. This leaves a distinctive zigzag pattern in the barrel. The hexagonal body has a warm, natural feel and is great for sketching and underdrawings before you add color with Copic. The packaging is recycled paper.
